Virgin PE materials for pipes

Send enquiries for virgin polyethylene resins and pipe compounds with the exact manufacturer grade, process and project specification. For HDPE pipe production, state whether PE100, PE80 or another specified material is required. Include the technical datasheet, colour, required quantity and delivery destination.

Pressure service, water, gas, drainage and conduit applications can have different material requirements. Confirm the compound specification, documentation and applicable approvals for the intended pipe system before ordering.

Virgin PPR / PP-R pipe resins

PPR refers to polypropylene random copolymer, also written PP-R. For pipe and fitting production enquiries, identify the specified resin grade, extrusion or moulding process, colour and end-use requirements. Include operating temperature and pressure requirements where relevant to the project.

For hot and cold water or other specified systems, request the exact supporting test data and approvals needed. A general PPRC description alone does not establish that a resin is suitable for a particular pipe system.

Recycled PE and PPR materials

Discuss recycled PE or PPR granules and pipe regrind as a separate sourcing requirement. Identify the original product, polymer, post-industrial or post-consumer source, supplied form, sorting, colour, contamination and available test reports. Photographs and representative sample details help assess the lot.

Recycled material is assessed against the intended application and its permitted material specification. Do not assume that a recovered pipe source or a virgin-resin grade name establishes pressure, drinking-water or other certification for a recycled lot. Availability and suitability are confirmed for the specific offer.

Buying or offering pipe regrind?

Buyers can send acceptance criteria and the planned processing use. Suppliers can offer clearly identified PE or PPR pipe recovery material with current photographs, estimated tonnage, packing and loading location. Keep PE and PPR streams identified separately and disclose any mixed materials.
